Born to Sweet Delight
During this October full moon, Jupiter and Saturn again come together in Capricorn, amplifying the influence of ”adharma”, lack of dharma. This phase of human evolution has its own peculiar challenges, to which there are no easy answers. Lies are told on a global scale because they seem to produce effective results. Issues spreading like a wildfire of viral infection has become a standard operating procedure in marketing and social media networks, politics, business and finances, global healthcare, social unrest and immigration, weather patterns and environmental conditions. The absence of dharma makes this possible.
What is dharma? Dharma is an ultimate transcendent quality. Dharma is the truth of reality. When we strip away all interpretations, expectations, all stories we tell ourselves, and we are left with Pure Being Consciousness – that is dharma. Our Authentic, Ascendant Self is pure dharma. Out of that pure being springs the sense of truth and natural law. When you think of dharma, think what is right and true to self, how you are ”wired” for wellbeing and prosperity, so you can promote the evolution of human awareness. Dharma is the inner sense that keeps you on the right track, fills you with a sense of purpose and belonging.
State of balance and health is dharma. Why is a viral infection allowed to make life into a problem? Virus as such is a natural phenomenon of life. What makes it problematic, are our own expectations and restrictive beliefs about what life should be. Viral infection reveals our own resistance toward life, restrictive and inhibiting attitudes which are not dharma. Expectations involve human interaction, and measures to prevent spreading of viral infection minimize and regulate contact between humans. Preventing infection means less contact, which reveals fears and alienation from dharma. Less external contact offers opportunity to turn more focus inward, and discover the true source of life within. Life cannot be controlled or contained by human measures, life has its own dharma which always finds another path. If you can see how everything has its own dharma… what remains? Listen to the voice of a poet William Blake: ”To see a World in a Grain of Sand… Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand… Each outcry of the hunted Hare, A fiber from the Brain does tear… A truth that’s told with bad intent, Beats all the Lies you can invent.” Or, as in Bhagavad Gita Krishna tells Arjuna: it is better to fail living your own dharma than to succeed by trying to live someone else’s dharma.
Dharma as ultimate transcendent reality cannot disappear. Our own choice of focus is the real issue: If God does not force you to be true – what will you do? Will you start taking shortcuts and compromises? Our primary task is to live and realize our own dharma. Go inside and accept who you are, then come out and do the thing you were designed to do. Act according to your internal design of truth and let God take care of the rest. This month, do that in the following areas of life:
